About the Author

Elizabeth Hickey was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky. She received her B.A. in art history from Williams College in Williamstown, MA, and her M.F.A. in creative writing from Columbia University in New York City.

Her first novel, The Painted Kiss,, was published in 2005 by Atria Books.

She lives in Portland, Oregon with her husband and son.
